Could only trade the first 4 hours. I'm not sure if it was the market or me today, but I did really bad. I did some major churning today, mainly during the first 2 hours. I did 132 round turns trading ER2; that's about $600 just in commissions. Looks like Oil and Financials are weak and tech's are relatively strong today. I was looking at a new trading technique today, and I think that may have affected my trading. Also, there seemed to bearish divergence between the A/D lines of the exchanges and the price of the indices until the market turned at 8:30am.
P/L= $706
EDIT:
It looks like IB made an error on my trade summary log today, I only did 132 round turns, which makes since according to the gross and net P/L.

your comms fees for the day looks pretty good if it was only $600 for 264 R/T. since you still finished green it's academic at this point, but i figured it would be at least $1,000. sounds like you got a great rate. kudos ;-)

not sure how you only paid that much when IB charges 2x higher to me. looks like ive been getting ripped off on commissions. lol.
My gross P/L was like $1,300, so I will check again later what my commission is, I believe it is $2.40 per side
yeah, at $2.40/side (i.e. $4.80/rt) that would be about $1267 in coms.

but hey, if IB is hooking you up, let 'em! :-D
again, if you finished up $700 then this is all moot.
also, with the 264 rt, was that mostly in 5-10 lot trades? if so, does that mean you had 25-50 trades / setups over the four hours? or were many of them scalp trades?

I re-logged in tonight and IB had changed my trade summary to 132 cards traded, which makes sense. Apparently there was an error on IB's part.
Great site. I am just starting a similar trading set up with IB.
Actually, looking at Friday I was worried... your summary screen you should have grossed about $6400, but you netted $3200. Commissions should only have been about $280. Did you lose the rest to cancel/modify charges? IB claims they charge $1.20 to change an order - e.g. your stops. Something to check (and let us know about): Are you losing a lot to modify charges? Should _I_ worry about it?
Hey anonymous, apparently IB is doubling my trade summary contracts traded until the market is closed, I did half the volume on friday as what my trade summary says. Same thing happened today. IB doesn't charge me when cancelling orders, nothing to worry about.
Are the p/l you list after commissions?
Yes.
Very nice, you're doing great.
